Listening to it he didn't come off as being insulted .

"Apparently I'm a rapper" sounds pretty condescending.

He's saying he's a Rapper, but He's more than that...Obviously his music will tell you that

It's not what you say it's how you say it.

Lol How you say it okay...well, Look at the Title of the Thread...

Word for Word is that what Drake said.???

Did he say he's "Bigger" than Rap.???

...Or that just some Clickbaiting shit.?

He didn't say he was bigger than rap. But after reading the article though...

the entire quote shows how he feel, which of course it's right to feel that way. Picking pieces of his interview of course will have him looking like a bad guy

He did mention race and once again he was right but also once again he came off like he was offended too. We can walk and chew gum bruh.

I listened to the full interview a few days ago, and the article posted has done a great job in highlighting cerian quotes out of context - more than likely to produce faux-outrage and controversy. Well done to those who have fallen for it - the crass ignorance of The Reason hasn't let me down yet.

Hahahahaha y'all 'Drakies' mad...

He's crying he didn't win in a pop category... why? Because like I stated he came into the game as a HipHop artiste so the Grammys will only put him in that box...

And dude isn't even a talented singer at all; he actually raps better than he sings. This the cat y'all ride for?

:joy: you feeling yaself like you just put up a Strong Argument just now. lol

"...He can't even sing that Good, Y'all Riding for THIS Cat.???"

LMAO Grade A Hatin'.

Hatin'? My nigga please...

In that same post you quoted I complimented him as a better rapper than a singer: out of all his albums I like NWTS more ....

But I'll call it like I see it. He's being condescending to rap music with those statements

And I didn't hear Beyonce or Taylor Swift crying about not given the right awards for switching genres...
