He lost me for the most part with the singing, but I agree -- Best I Ever Had shits on Death of Autotune.

One song is a hater anthem that effectively fucked up T-Pain's pockets for no reason other than he could by making White people think, "Oh, no! Autotune isn't cool anymore! We've gotta abort!" The other song is full of bra-less titties and Rosa Acosta stretching.

The second part is common knowledge though. The Grammys almost always use big name musicians to draw viewers and then give the award to some super underground underground niche artist or some band from the 60s/70s who should've got one then who no one ever hears from again in a couple of years except the same people who heard of them in the first place.

He didn't use autotune for that... the hook did sound a bit generated, but it definitely wasn't autotune. Drake got a voice, he just can't sing live and prolly took a million takes to get it right. And if that's the case, no one today should be winning grammys cuz they all use computer effects when their vocals get mixed down. All that being said, Jay deserved that Grammy... none of those other songs were worth talking about.
