1) Drake started as a traditional rapper's rapper. Very few relatively new artists remaining can say that

2) Even with all his singing, he picks actual hip hop records for singles when he could easily just go 100% pop.

lol bruh this isn't a stretch for me, I really don't check for Drake's music at all. I have one song in my itunes I think Started From the Bottom because I liked the beat and he didn't simp or try to sing too much.
