There is a difference between beat making and producing, trust me he is gonna add his touch to it by mixing, drums, etc. Plus the same thing you just asked could be asked of My Beautiful Twisted Dark Fantasy, yall niggas need to be patient and judge the album when it drops as a whole.

bruh, you must've took some shrapnel to the head or something...suffering from post traumatic stress disorder...or you blatant dickrider.

that's the only explanation as to why any one who loves raw uncut hip hop will try to slander their name trying to defend this monstrosity and its creation.

the songs fuckin sucks. Admit it. I've know Dre was a hack since 2001. But I feel the hip hop heads that supported Dre all these years deserve better.

And kill that producer vs. beatmakers talk, traditional music rules don't apply to hip hop cuz hip hop is not traditional music ,its unorthodox , always going against the grain. With hip hop music the beatmaker IS the producer...touching up a fuckin track after the fact is not coming up with ill ideals and concepts, that's engineering and mixing.

(thought I deaded that issue here last time niggas tried to use that as a cop out)

and even if we all go blindly with that Dre is a "producer" he doesn't have to come up with ideals and concepts , this track credits specifically said it is produced by Alex the Kid. NOT DRE.

He do nothing to this track cuz Em wrote the rhymes and shorty girl no doubly came up with the chorus/hook.

Inexcusable.

how many here would agree if

I or any other hack rapper was spitting on a track that prominently featured Eminem ,

with the mandatory radio friendly sing’ along hook & chorus the shit will sell??

Why would yall expect the song to sound like some Dre shit, when another nigga produce the shit. lmfao He said he was working with other producers on the album so i doubt it would have a signature sound.

Yall niggas need to stop setting up your self for disappointment, and just accept new projects for what it is, something new.

lol @ me for thinkin a Dr. Dre song is supposed to sound like a Dr. Dre song. shame on me. smh, dude just shut the fuck up already.

wasn't that like 20 years ago

but isn't that the standard he created for himself??

and more to the point isn't that the standard used by many to argue why he is the "GOAT"???

It's already been proven that having a song that prominently features Eminem does not always equal sales. "No Love" was a radio friendly Eminem single featuring another insanely popular in Lil' Wayne and it wasn't huge. Neither was "Drop The World".

Fair enough, but add the novelty of anticipation and there you have it.

Look, I know feel Dre can do no wrong behind the boards…ok scratch, he didn’t produce this…no wrong with his lyrics,…ok scratch that he didn’t write this.

Look I know you feel Dre is the GOAT at..... whatever it is , he actually does in the studio.....

(“conducting and mixing”?)

but even you’ll be hard press to convincible argue THIS is what the game has been missing and expected from the guy

It's definitely not what the game's been missing, because it's a listenable version of "Love The Way You Lie". It's also something that isn't expected of Dre (but again, it's a double edged sword because people said they wanted something more than a typical Dre track). Personally, it's not what I expected because my main issue with the song is that it's not a Dre production. Dr. Dre's production is the main reason to cop a Dre album and so far there have been two songs with full credit to other producers. I'm waiting on the full album to see how it is all put together though. My greatest dissappointment regarding the album is if it's 12-15 songs with few to no Dre productions.

He gets a pass for taking a decade to release one album, he gets a pass for not having to write his own songs, he gets a pass for using other producers music and then only adding “touches here & there” during the final mixing process,

and that all begs the question:

What HELL is his purpose than??????
