I've always been a fan of Dre and I don't have nothing against Em when he comes correct. But this shit is wack. Like somebody said in another thread this just sounds like a leftover from Em's album. Detox is looking bad right now. It might be a okay album for todays standards but it doesn't look like it's gonna come anywhere near tha Chronic or 2001. Since when does Dre have to work to meet tha standards? He used to set them. I might not even waste my money on Detox if this is what it's gonna be. Tha production isn't even that great. 10 years shoulda been more than enough time to make something epic.. but this shit? smh

Eminem is a factor in the success of the song, but not everything w/ Em's name is a major hit. For example, Wayne's "Drop The World" feat. Eminem wasn't that huge. "No Love" which was Em's own single wasn't that huge. This is big for Dre. Dre has like 1 or 2 singles without a feature. Dr. Dre the rapper has never been the main selling point of his projects.

Dre would probably have done the mixing; Ye I know always puts his touch onto stuff but he doesn't mix it whereas Dre does both iirc.
He might have asked Alex Da Kid to do it in a particular way; isn't that how his raps are done? He gets the ghostwriters to write the songs in a certain way?
