music is music. i grew up listening to artists who were making music well into their 50's & 60's.

only ignorant ADHD, Bi Polar crack babies feel that niggaz need to hang it up as artists, because of age.

But we already have 50 year olds rapping and still sounding relevant. Dudes may not be popping as much as they were, but PE still make good music. Chuck D was born in 1960. Nigga saw the moon landing live on TV.

I gave up on it last year, it is never coming out!

Dre's perfection shit is getting annoying, dude really needs to just scrap it and give the tracks to the people that wrote it and let them release it on their albums.

why does hip hop seem to be the only genre that has a mandatory retirement age? they're still letting the rolling stones rock even tho most of them look like they're dead already. i mean even madonna's geriatric ass is still doing pop tours. why in hip hop are you old by 35?

The trends change so quickly that fans nowadays forget

about you. Your classic albums become like old dreams that you barely remember. I think Dre deserves to fall back and kick his feet up though

Hip hop has to mature to do that it needs older people to make music.

GREAT POINT!!!

In order for the genre to mature, it will require older artists making music with a POPULAR reception!! It can't just be the kiddos!

This goes for NEW signings as well. These labels are going to have to start signing more mature artists instead of high school / post high school / 20 somethings.

niggas act like hip hop doesn't have a limited subject matter

that's why its hard to listen to a old ass man talk about doin shit a nigga half his age would do

2 Chainzzzzzz!

This shit is never dropping, dude is like Madden at this point in his career no need to come down from the booth to try and win another Super Bowl. He sitting on at least 3 undeniable classics (Chronic 1&2, Doggystyle) so maybe he feels he will fuck up his legacy if he don't drop the right shit even if it sells off of brand name alone.

He at least gave us Kendrick Lamar on a grand scale this year and if he drops back and just does executive producing I'm cool with that.

I wanna hear that Planets Imstrumental tape he said he was gonna do, but he said that was coming after Detox..., hell we might have 354 new planets when that shit comes out

I'll never stop supporting Premier, Pete Rock, Large Pro, Q tip and artists like Nas getting older, Jay, The Wu, and basically anybody who grew as an artist whose talent didnt deteriorate over the years and are still talking about the same shit, Dre got a lot of credit for beats over the years when he didnt deserve it his team did and never wrote his own shit, so really it has nothing to do with the mans age, it has to do with the man himself

Not only is Dr. Dre getting older, but so am i. You niggas act like ya'll gonna stay young forever or hiphop is trapped in a vacuum. lol
