With all due respect, because I truly have respect but.......

And I understand it's all about Entrepreneurship and Flippin. But again, after they flip that then what? A nightclub, A clothing line, Liquor, A Record Label, A Film, More Food Spots, Event Planning based around Entertainment?

Let's not act like we don't see where this is going.

All love and blessings tho. Straight from the heart babe.

The best thing to do is to go work for the white man, or any man and learn how their business works, then open up a competing business. This is why white folks have no compete clauses for their companies. They know what's up. For the most part, most businesses survive because it is a family and community business. For instance, corner stores are normally ran by families and they all live, sleep, and eat together. Same with Chinese restaurants and many other types of community businesses. The flip side is old businesses that aren't going anywhere because their money stretches all the way back to the great economic boom of the late 1800s. Even then, businesses were swallowed up wholesale by conglomerates.

Corporations for the most part aren't ran by any particular race, they are entities unto themselves unless they are private like the Walmart family. At the end of the day, white businesses fail too, and black folks aren't as dynamic with their shopping as people allude to. White people spend way more on disposable pointless things like sweaters for pets. Banks are hardly lending to anybody these days because they have perpetual income. They don't need to make money off of your loan interest since stock is guaranteed for them now and they ran that aspect of their economic business into the ground with the recession. If you want to see white folks fail and other white folks succeed on their ashes, look at the great recession.

We all understand that financial empowerment is the only way, we as a people will be respected! The issue is that we are trying to do this on a large scale but, first we need to focus on are households and immediate community. we have to change the mentality of just spending our money with whomever and begin to spend it will our community exclusively. The change begins at HOME, a national change will not happen overnight but, if we can create change one community at a time the change will stick! Marcus Garvey, Malcolm X, MLK, Dr. Claud Anderson and plenty more great Black leaders have preached this.. It is on us to make these changes and stop being pacified!

This is by far the most important post in this thread. People want to talk about doing shit on a wide scale, but aren't even putting in work at home.

What's weird is, most of the posters will overlook this truth because it provides an actual solution versus the usual whining that plagues topics like these. I really can't call it, I'm thinking most people just want someone to bring them along, instead of putting in the work themselves and getting to a point where it actually makes sense to join forces.
