I brought up mullatoes not being treated like blacks just to make that point clear it's not part of my overall statements it's just something i want YOU TO KNOW. Your issue is that you deny reality and the reality is race mixture has been a negative for black people in american and worldwide.

I have defended all my points. You just dismiss them because you don't think they are significant enough. You don't think the census data is enough but if you put history in it's context and think about the current racial situation and stop being such a fucking optimist your eyes might actually open.

As for oprah she has no REAL power, what laws or policies is she helping to get passed or changed. what economic programs for black people has she put in place. Your idea of power is nothing more than popularity, she can make someone popular that's it. I am not impressed by that she is nothing more than a fucking entertainer.

OPRAH is similar rush limbaugh and actually she has less influence than he does.

When have I ever denied that mullatoes have been treated like blacks though? Never, because I know for the most part that's untrue. There are cases where it is true though. Me for instance, but that's because no one ever knows I'm mixed, so they treat me like any other black dude. But yes, I'd agree with you that high yellow clearly mixed mulattoes have historically been treated differently than darker blacks.

But it's not life was grand for them. They were still discriminated against and treated like second hand citizens, and in place of the slightly better treatment they received from white people, they received hatred from some black people like yourself that had it out for them just because they were mixed. So it's silly to act like mixed people had the key to the kingdom or something just because they got treated a little better.

You haven't really defended your points. It's not about significance. It's about whether the strength evidence supports your claims. Its fine for you to believe that mixed people will eventually become a problem, but if you're going to act like anyone who disagrees with you is stupid, you might want to have better evidence supporting your claim than census data that basically amounts to one data point and historical trends that don't even fully support your point.

And either you're being shortsighted or you don't understand how this country works. People who can influence the masses have always been more powerful than the average politician. You ask what laws or policies is Oprah getting passed. Well, how about every law and policy that Obama pushes, because if Oprah was instrumental in getting him elected, then everything he accomplishes is due in part to her. That's power. If you seriously live in America and are acting like having a lot of money and influence is not power, then you don't know shit about America. And lol @ Rush having more influence then Oprah. If that's the case how come his candidate didn't win in 2008 or 2012? He opposed Obama both times, and both times Obama won. I don't see anyone pushing data that Rush's influence led to a million votes for anything. I don't see any calling any political phenomena the "Rush Effect." Get out of here. You got me singing Oprah's praises and I don't even like her. SMH
