The Japanese were not deported during WW2. They were sent into interment camps for the Japanese Americans who were living on the west coast, due to the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor. However, the Japanese Americans who lived Hawaii were not placed in interment camps.

There were No No boys, Japanese American men, who were sent to jail because they did not want to fight for the United States against their parents home country, Japan.

The Japanese Americans citizenship were not revoked and they were not sent back to Japan; like the Haitian people who's citizenship is being revoked for no apparent reason in Dominica Republic.
