Hell no Fat Joe doesn't get enough credit, but regardless what niggas might say about him he earned his stripes and is a hip-hop legend....btw "Don Cartagena" was one of the best albums released in '98

Joe wouldnt be disliked as much if he didnt use the word Nigger (like he does). Its too late now, he's a has been that never was. He was Big Pun's shadow.
He's the Lil' Cease of Terror Squad

His best material was in the 90s with his first three albums, since then he's dropped some decent material, but now he just comes off as someone trying to jump on whatever is popular at the time. I guess that's what you do when you're trying to stay relevant, though. His early material was great though, he was down with D.I.T.C., he could rhyme and hold his own with the others. He and D.I.T.C. definitely contributed some ill grimy music during that time. I give him props. "This story takes place back in the South Bronx..." Classic.
