It forces a fan to defend him even more than usual, creating diehard fans.. so I say yea.. especially when it's unfair criticism or at least n the eyes of the fans

On the rappers side, sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't.. I think early on n their career they might listen more than they will when they make it.. I mean u can tell j Cole be listening to what people say but he smart enough to take it with a grain of salt.. I think he's a good example becuz u even hear him address what people on this board b saying n his music.. all depends on what elevate means to u.. I'm sure niggas want Wayne to make more songs about shit other than pussy, bitches, weed, skateboard, pussy but his accountant loving all the numbers he get to slide over into birdman Sr. Bank account everyday..

Its like speakin about the internet, the most popular rappers tend to get criticized. They are popular because people like what they make. I just know if people on here are criticizing a rapper and Ive actually heard their songs and thought they were good, It feels good to see them succeed. 1 of the many examples Waka Flocka. I know he had the haters furious but Flockavelli was a great album. So just make good music and people will know they just hatin cause you doin your thing.
