but here is what equals out giving hype to artists you hate....fans in general are fickle in supporting an artist for prolonged periods of time they just looking for the "hip" or in rapper.
we have had this effect on artists from soulja boy, to gucci mane to flocka to even diggy (when people wer talking about the cole beef) and so many other examples. And guess where those artists are now? Not any better than before the conterversial threads.
Because even if niggas start bumping his music will they legally buy his album? Will they go to his show 2 years from now when he really needs show money? Will they still be hardcore fans? For the majority of so called cheif quief fans the answer will be hell no. They will move on to the next troll the next lil b the next soulja boy. Chief's fans love sosa but after they hop on the next bandwagon he will fade into where are they now status like sammy sosa.

Souja boy hardly been around for 4 years and musically (im not talking bank accounts) he aint shit anymore. And the biggest difference between a soulja boy or asap or currensy is these niggas worked hard.
Even as wack as soulja boy came out he had an entire marketing campaign where he could teach lames how to do his dance etc. Chief not even showing up to music videos or taking showers. And this nigga showing up to interviews all shy and shit unlike other niggas on their grind.
