Does a straw have one hole, or two holes?

Couldnt even find a gif great enough to express the 'wtf did I just watch, there truelly is no hope for mankind" state I was in for a brief moment lol.
 
So we really gonna philosophize about what a hole really is?

This thread bout to do numbers too.
 
Why is this a question. I think the length is confusing people. If it was a piece of paper would you say the same thing...that it has 2 holes. I voted one hole but mathematically speaking I guess it's two. 2 objects cant occupy the same space at the same time with this reasoning using an x,y,z plane reference point z would be the difference so 2 is the correct answer.

It is one hole, two openings. Depth or length of the hole does not change the fact that it is the same hole.

Just as if a room has two doors. It has two openings.

This was my initial reasoning but some dictionaries define a hole.as an opening...going off that it's like okay...are we talking empty space or the access points.
