WTF when did Fox 5 start doing shit other than news?

Does NY have a Fox 5 too? I always thought that was just Atlanta...

There's something wrong with the timeline.

Biggs said he played Who Shot Ya and that inspired Jay to record some of the material on Reasonable Doubt, but Who Shot Ya came out in late 94/early 95. Reasonable Doubt came out in June 96.

Seems like it took a long time to record the album, or that story is bogus.

How is it bogus?

Some niggas record shit over 2 years or record an album in 2 months.

Plus wasn't Jay and them unsigned and using there own funds to record RD. Maybe it took 2 years cuz they were trying to catch them black friday sale on studio time.

Is this the one where jaz o was like "what you mean how did I produce ain't no nigga? I just hit the drum machine for 5 minutes... what do you mean?"

Those channels(cbs,cw,fox, nbc, etc) are national except you got ATL reporting ATL and we got NYC anchors reporting our area

Haven't watched yet, but I remember reading how Jay tried to cunningly coerce Ski to give him most if not all Camp Lo's beats b/c he thought they were dumb dope (which they were) and CL couldn't do them justice.

I always wondered how different RD would have turned out w/ more beats from "Uptown Saturday Night".

Ain't no nigga is the only weak song on this album. Even if I produced it I wouldn't admit to it

Nosign.

Ain't No Nigga samples the classic breakbeat Seven Minutes Of Funk

Na nothing wrong with that timeline....They didn't have a deal so it took a while to get the album out....Crazy how competition pushed the both of them....

I seen that one...jaz-o be sounding a bit bitter when Jay's name be popping up...so does Dame at times..though it seems like Dame noticed that shit n has pulled back lately n tries to avoid the topic period.

That's how it's been when hip hop has had its best eras...usually a group of individual acts or groups compete for the top spot n push each other artistically...I think that was Kendrick's intention w that control verse but some of these new niggas got emotional n took it as a diss instead of a challenge.

If kept on wax..rap beef can be beneficial for the game...big n pac made great music partly bc they knew their albums were being compared to each others...same with Nas n jay...I would say that beef got them seriously focused on they art n not looking wack
