For black people, yes. Unless you're an entertainer or you just get lucky.

It definitely helps ur situation & if it didnt then nobody would bother with it. For blks id recommend we do go out & get one, for decades weve tried the street route only to be killed off, jailed or leave our families out of shame so lets try another approach & go for an education. it shouldnt be no argument against getting one b/c lets be real we know itll help our situations even if we're already qualified and have proven it to ourselves w/o one.
I think its plausible to say that there are more ppl that are successful than those who dont. U cant use the forbes 400 list to say otherwise cuz to be honest, that list only makes up for about 0.5% of the population & most of them were geniuses of industry and immensely ambitious & those 2 traits alone arent common at all.

If you have a good work record on your resume you dont need a college degree..much less one of those 4 years at all. I guess it all boils down to 2 things, either you have a connection in your field that can vouch for you and get you your first job, or if you dont have that you will pretty much need that degree.
corporate connections>>>>college connections, you can get a 2 year degree and build up your rep with a corporation and get further than people with 4 year degrees, my life is a testiment to that.
