It's not the jobs per se, it's the pay they do said jobs for. No American born person is doing menial tasks for $10 a day

Nah sis, Walmart and Kroger both pay below $10 / hr. You ever see how many people back bags sometimes in grocery stores, they probably getting even less.

I also just read that Mickey D's pays $10 for part time workers.

And a lot of Americans work these jobs.

But they do pay minimum wage tho...yea minimum wage ain't shit but nobody born here is willing to work for significantly less than that except for internships and volunteer work...but the expectation is that you'll be paid better at the end of it. Waitress and service jobs too but you have tips to fall back on...also not really shit but it's better than being a busboy/dishwasher, or some type of harsh manual labor for less than minimum wage with no overtime pay, benefits or sick days.

Coming from making pesos to dollars is a gigantic difference. So its really stupid to compare what a person born in america is willing to accept for pay compared to what a mexican or a person born in a 3rd world country is willing to accept for pay.
