the pyramids were not built by slaves.

I didn't say they were. I said the materials were quarried and moved by slaves. The simple cutting was done by them as well. The work that required training was obviously done by skilled craftsmen.

In the end, it was a brutally unfair caste system where the entire population was told they were the property of the pharaoh. The pyramids are monuments to dictators, not good men.

Pretty cool stacks of rocks, though. But America >>>>> Egypt.

yep. because niggas back then were brilliant architects and engineers. even to build shit like the brooklyn bridge is amazing what was done with little to no machinery

Yes i believe they did. Think about it, they didn't have the distractions of today, you could literally spend 12-16 hours of your day using your brain. No facebook, no iphones, no tv, internet, etc. We could do the same this day and age but we're distracted by technology and a lot of people don't want to think too much nowadays, something or somebody else will do it for them.

Yes, they built the pyramids, fam. There are tons of books and documentaries about how it was done. I've learned to never doubt the ingenuity of man.

I doubt it. I use my brain and people were doing it out of neccessity.

You on the internet right? You don't use it like you think you do. None of us do compared to them.

The design of the Brooklyn Bridge was completed by a woman, true story.

Black people were too dumb to have built pyramids so I think the aliens built them. Yep that makes more sense.

Ancient Egyptians yes, with the help of passed down knowledge (sacred geometry) from a out side force.

It's all pretty well documented actually. Yes - Ancient Egyptians did build the pyramids in Egypt. This isn't a matter of belief or speculation, there are more than enough facts to corroborate when, how and why the pyramids at Giza were built.

Here is the logical progression of how pyramids came to be in Egypt:

1) Mastabas. These are basically large slabs of rock that you cover the mummy with to keep animals away and also to mark the grave.

2) ~2600 BC Imhotep comes along and decides to build a step pyramid by stacking increasingly smaller mastabas on top of each other for the pharaoh Djoser (this was the first stone building in the history of the world by the way).

3) ~2500 BC The pharaoh Snefru gets the idea to start building "true" pyramids by filling in step pyramids with limestone on the steps. The first few of them collapsed (Bent Pyramid, Meidum Pyramid) or were abandoned but he eventually gets it right (Red Pyramid).

4) Snefru's son Khufu had the first Pyramid at Giza built using the knowledge he got from his father.

The interesting thing is even the Ancient Egyptians forgot how to properly build pyramids - that's how long they reigned for. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Egyptian_pyramids) that page shows images in chronological order of the existing know Egyptian pyramids. You can see how they learned and then forgot over time (over the course of 1400 years).

Also - there's no evidence to suggest a significant amount of slave labor was used to build the pyramids - there weren't even that many slaves in Egypt during that period. Egyptians were expected to spend a certain amount of their time doing civic work. It would be like one day a week you had to put in work for the community or Egypt as a whole. Rich people could pay someone else to take their place and also it could be argued that this is "slave" labor - but in reality it wasn't - it was just how their society worked.

ps - this civic work would most likely be done during the season called "Inundation" which was about 4 months when the nile was flooded so there wasn't much else for the farmers to do and it would also be a lot easier to float limestone directly to the building site.

What people are failing to fucking grasp is, the time period that the pyramids were allegedly built by Egyptians does not coincide with how long it would actually take in man hours. People want to overlook the blatant impossible shit, like how they look past the Easter Island monuments and other shit.

Science and mans intelligence/progress at that time period does not go hand in hand. It's like finding a ipod in the 1930's and ignoring something is off.

I think you're underestimating the number of people that worked on it. It took at least 20 years to build what is essentially a stack of stones. According to Herodotus (who admittedly heard this in Egypt about 2,000 years after the fact) there were 90,000 men working on it in 3-month shifts at least during Inundation.

It's not that huge a technological marvel for the time. It was more of a marvel of the ability to organize people. The idea that you were working for a living god who was responsible for the most bountiful times in known history up to that point was a pretty big motivator.

There are carvings on stone from some the work crews that were building the pyramids at the time that shed light on how they worked.

It's more possible that aliens did it than a black man cause you seen how waka flocka and gucci mane talk smh, they couldn't even build a stick man let alone a pryamid. Unless, the so called original black man was 2 billion times smarter than what he is today, than it has to be aliens.

this post cant be real....

And the Easter Island monuments aren't much of a mystery. It's well-known that people arrived at the island, had a stable society for a while, built some nice statues, and then exhausted their resources and almost starved to death before Europeans arrived and saved them.

It's not only the time period dude, it's the astronomical alignments and shit like that without telescope and knowledge of outer planets and shit that couldn't be seen by the naked eye. Plus it's not no simple fucking shit as lifting stones as you would say, it's cutting those stones in a laser like manner, it's getting lighting inside the pyramids when there was no electricity at the time and not enough oxygen inside the pyramids to fuel torches.

The technology and scientific knowledge did not exist back then to do all that shit, not unless the the dates of the pyramids and mens knowledge of the universe is older than we think.

Oh it's that simple huh? We gonna ignore the fucking fact those stones aren't local to that area, had to be transported for miles. How the fuck were those heavy ass monuments lifted and move and precisely cut?

.

Actually it did. Nearly every "mystery" of the pyramids you can think of has already been either debunked or explained.

I'm not sure how I can convince someone using facts along with historical documentation and reasonable extrapolation of something being non-mysterious when the most reasonable conclusion they're willing to accept is alien-intervention.

1) cutting stone was something ancient egyptians did very well. this is what they used to build with so it's not far-fetched to assume they would get good at it. they also didn't start great at this. There is archeological evidence of the progress they made over time. They aren't cut like a laser, they were cut and polished meticulously. The quarry where the stones came from is right near the pyramids at Giza and you can see what they did with the stones they fucked up - they left them there.

2) the sides of the pyramids are aligned to the compass points but anybody can see the north star with the naked eye. It's incredibly precise but it's precisely aligned to known points at the time - stars that could be seen with the naked eye on certain days of the year.

3) pyramids didn't need to be lit on the inside but there is certainly enough oxygen to keep a fire burning since people don't die when they go in there even though when the burial chamber was sealed it was airtight (excellent stone-cutting and craftsmanship).

4) it's widely accepted that there was a channel of the nile that ran under at least the great pyramid. This would making moving stone to the site pretty trivial and also using shadoofs which were invented about 500 years before would even make lifting and moving the stones a lot easier than you might imagine.

Slavery. One guy is king or chief, he makes other people do things by threat of violence. This is what the natives themselves say.

basically the more advanced technology becomes, the dumber the average person will become

the fact that they were able to construct these structures without modern cranes and excavators is amazing. note the pinpoint accuracy in the architecture

modern society depends on technology too much...take away someone's iPhone/computer, and they are fucking lost

watch documentary "Transcendant Man" shit will blow your mind once you understand where technology is ultimately going

The 3 ''main'' pyramids were built in perfect alignment with Orion's Belt, even down to the last one being slightly off the straight line. Also, the Sphinx was built to face the Leo constellation I'm not sure in wich year but it was a perfect alignment. I don't have a rock solid opinion on wether they were built by our ancestors alone or if they had help but the mass of proof tips the balance towards having some advanced help.

We shouldn't forget that mayans and aztecs built monuments perfectly aligned with Orion's belt as well, half a world away from the Egyptians. Alot of the native tribes keep stories of visitors coming down and teaching em that all life came from there, Orion's belt area, and Sirius. How did the dogon tribe of africa know about Sirius when no human at the time couldve seen it since it's so far?

Open minds will lead us to truth
