I'm not mad at all. You asked why cats stay calling you angry and I answered. And yes 90% of the threads here usually deal with woman bashing. And if one of these woman bashing niggas asked 'Why y'all keep calling me angry?', I'd explain it to him like I explained it to you. And I didn't say it had anything to do with your past. I made a side note comment about northern dudes vs southern dudes. not even a bashing comment because I stated my preference for northern dudes. so if I do have a preference I cant possibly hate all black men and I have a black man.

Very hard to be patriotic, it is. I do support the troops and I do donate however. My lack of patriotism stems from the founding of our government and it's social engineering of our country.

The little people caught up in the machine are just trying to get by. Just like me. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and help if I can.

Patriotism does not just mean co-signing and agreeing with everything your country does. Patriots also criticize and expose the hypocrisy of a Nation in order to make it better.

So the answer is no. YOur blackness should, if anything, make you more passionate in your patriotism. Combating racism, being educated about your history and fighting anybody (in your own way) that gets in the way of progress for your people and indirectly all Americans is the true essense of Patriotism. Not saluting the flag, chanting USA! USA! during soccer matches every 4 years and placing your right hand over your heart before professional ball games.

There are many things about the country that make me proud and others that make me ashamed. The number one thing that I find embarrassing is the lack of education of the general populace and I don't mean this in just the realm of academia, more so when it comes to social ignorance. Most revolutionaries in the positive sense are really conservatives. Trying to conserve the idea of America and do away with the reality to make for a better reality based on the ideal.

There is a such thing (to me) as a negative revolutionary. For example Reagan Revolutionized how we deal with corporations and it bit us in the ass decades later. General Ulysess S. Grant fought against the Klan to DEFEND blacks and revolutionized the way the Federal government treated blacks....THEN the U.S. Congress had their own little revolution to reverse that and the KKK grew more powerful.

Our revolutionary was their Nigger Loving traitor. So when you say "revolutionary" dont forget it goes both ways. What is being revolutionized is more important than the word itself.

Patriots fight for not a system of government or a group of people but for an idea. The idea that the Declaration of Independence and our Constitution, although written on the back of slaves and in the blood of Native people in the end still has meaning and should be preserved, taken seriously, and applied to all people and that it is necessary to fight for that ideal because if you dont fight for it believe nobody else will either.

Blacks should be the main ones keeping the "IDEA" of America alive. Especially with our dumbass kids these days thinking their situation is hopeless. Not enough black patriots.

Never had a desire to be patriotic.

Im proud in the the accomplishments of my African-American people as a whole who have survived and still survive in America but thats the extent of it.

I feel no patriotism or pride in being an American.
