DO YOU "ACCEPT" PEOPLE COMING OUT? WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS ON THAT LIFE?

And just because a particular person was born a certain way, doesn't make it natural or the right way to be. Some people are born blind or deaf. Clearly humans have eyes and ears for a recent, so a normal human is supposed to have sight and hearing. If that human comes out without those two senses, something went wrong.

Likewise, males are born with a penis. Females are born with a vagina. Those are two complimentary sexual organs. Males have sperm; females have eggs. Those are two sex oriented cells that again are complimentary. So if the male and female sexual components are designed to work together, then clearly sex is meant to be between male and female. If a male comes out with no sexual interest in females or vice versa, something went wrong there.

I'm not mad at him for doing it. I'm just tired of this whole thing. Let gays be gay and be done with it. I watch basketball because I like the sport, and I don't need to know who they are fucking. The fact that I can't even get through a game wrap-up without some 20 minute long conversation about some dude admitting he likes to pack fudge is ridiculous.

And I hate the comparison of being black to being homosexual. It's not the same thing at all. When it all comes down to it, a person's sexuality is their own business. There is no reason it should be public, and if they choose to make it public then it's on them to deal with whatever consequences arise. You can't hide being black. It's not something you can privatize or keep to yourself. It's who you are, not something that revolves around what you do.

That's what I was thinking.

Like...what was the purpose of the announcement?

OK you're gay...but why do I need to know about it?

It's funny because other celebs/politicians are making it seem like dude did something groundbreaking or profound.

Saying they're proud of him, they support him, and all this other BS.

Just because he said he was gay?

If an athlete held a press conference or an interview with Sports Illustrated confessing that he likes fat women is he gonna get the same kind of support?

Would all these people start talking about how courageous he is and how much they support him and how groundbreaking this is for society?

@Sion......LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL

This dude's been in the NBA for 12 years and hasn't received any level of national attention until he announced that he was gay.

Seems like he just wants attention and is trying to cash-out on his sexuality.

Maybe extend his career a few extra years and pick up some endorsements that he normally wouldn't have been able to get based on his own merits as a player.

I wouldn't be surprised if dude really isn't gay at all and this is nothing more than a publicity stunt.

Can't blame him for trying to get paid, but surprised so many people are buying into this shit.

Shit is on every news channel and in every magazine, etc, yet niggas is in here talking about no one cares. SMH. YOU might not care and you might not understand why other people care...but obviously people care.

That's we're the unbalance in nature comes in. Nothing is perfect but there will always be a balance and an unbalance. It may not be the norm but it definately not uncommon to happen.

Idc what another man does in his bedroom.. BUT, it's totally disrespectful when fags compare their struggle to Blacks of any time frame (e.g. comparing their movement to the Civil Rights movement).. plus, a fag can hide the fact that he's attracted to men, but Blacks can't hide the fact that their Black..

I'm not sure why people think being gay is a choice. Just MsSouthern said, nobody chooses to be straight. It's just in your nature. Nobody taught you to be attracted to women. You just are. Same for niggas who are gay. They didn't wake up one day and say 'I'm going to be attracted to men now.'. They just are. Shit seems pretty clear to me.

SO YOU TELLING ME THAT KIDS/TEENS AINT JUST BEING/DOING GAY SHYT CAUSE ITS IN NOW?..

LIKE THAT 1 CHICK THAT GOT THE "I KISSED A GIRL AND I LIKED IT SONG".. U THINK THEM LIL GIRLS WASNT DOING THAT SHYT?... OH OK

Dro, you smarter that this, son.

U OBVIOUSLY NOT.. JUST LIKE DRUGS, SKINNY JEANS, OR ANY OTHER THINGS THAT DEEMED AS COOL, MOST KIDS/TEENS WILL FOLLOW IT... FACTS

LOL, hell nah.. a clothing fad isn't comparable to sexual orientation..

Bruh, I don't even know if people realize what agendas they're forwarding by wanting people to think gay is normal.

Being gay might not be something worth attacking somebody over, but it's definitely not normal.

If people just accept homosexuality and let gays be gays, then we wouldn't have any "coming out" speeches. I mean especially with celebrities and politicians, people really seem to care about their personal lives where it gets to the point that they feel the need to explain themselves, clear out the rumors blah blah. I personally don't care about anyone's sexual orientation. It doesn't affect me in anyway who someone chooses to sleep with. If they have been getting all this reactions about their homosexuality then of course I understand why they would feel the need to come out and tell that they are not afraid to be themselves.

That's not pushing the agenda, but reproof the news. Is it pushing the drunk white women movement when Lohan is all over the need news...no.

Him telling the media is just saying dont go crazy when you see me at the gay club or holding hands with a dude.

I doubt its the biggest news around and for a nba nigga he was brave. He could be causing all types of trouble for himself.

No, the media is not pushing a "drunk white women movement" when they do shit like that, but they are most certainly pushing an agenda. Celebrity news makes big money, so developing an atmosphere where people think shit like that is important, and then profiting off of it is the agenda.

And once again, I didn't say the guy was pushing an agenda. He's a gay man that's down for the gay cause, so he's standing up for that cause. I said the media is pushing that agenda, and yes, it's the biggest news around. I was at the gym on the treadmill yesterday. They have 10 TVs up, all on different channels. That story popped up multiple times on at least 8 of the TVs. That's ridiculous.

I don't care if the nigga is gay , he is still a terrible bball player but I did call him a coward and an opportunist for waiting till now for this shit...if he was really bout the backdoor bandit life he had made it known from jump not have a fiancee and etc....hell Britney Greiner was drafted, dropped the same bombshell no one was surprised nor gave a shit. I just typed all this to say I don't really care bout homeboy gay saga and he is still an awful bball ....and he took the attention away from us Roasting Dwight Howard..

It's not like the hefa was hiding it tho, but I see your point. Hell, she even shrugged it off like it was no big deal to her.

Yall heard about the church in VA I believe where the majoriy of the congregation broke away to start their own church because an openly gay pastor reverend or whatever was anointed

I think people are born gay. We all knew a fruit cake at an early age and he most likely is today a gay person. Either way who cares. I'm not chilling with you.

As far as influence from the media to celebrities I can see it. I live near a High School and that shit is so common to see now. Complete 180 from when I was in school especially amongst Blacks and Latinos

Very true...by all accounts being gay isn't natural because it goes against the ability to reproduce. However we don't deny rights to folks who are blind, deaf, or women/men who can't produce children or attempt to kill them so there's no logical reason to do any of that to someone based on them being homosexual.

I don't disagree with that. I'm just pointing out that it's not something evil for a person to say that homosexuality is abnormal or a perversion. Depending on your perspective, it absolutely is. Does that mean a person has the right to discriminate or mistreat a gay person. No, but they have every right to dislike that aspect of their being and it doesn't make them any of the negative things that people pushing the gay agenda try to lobby against those who don't care for homosexuality.
