Amidst countless historical evidence that across cultures and peoples it doesn't exist I have to wonder what drives someone to ignore all this and want to believe in Karma so strongly?
-We've watched slavemasters grow rich, be well liked throughout history, become presidents and then die peacefully WHILE their children inherit the earth and same ill-conceived wealth and inventions built off the backs of innocent people born into slavery AND we say karma exists??
-We've seen Genghis Khan slaughter hundreds of thousands and be ok
-Countless innocent people have contracted life debilitating disease
If you just add up everything bad or good that happens in your life you can rationalize karma either way. Rationalizing doesn't mean it makes sense nor is it the same as proving.
Karma shouldn't happen in another person's lifetime for things I did or were done to me, but according to karma due to reincarnation this is included. So, if rewards constantly improve the lives of corrupt people then this is a direct contradiction to the theory of karma. Unlike God, Karma is based on a theory. If that theory doesn't hold up to testing then it kinda has to be thrown away
So basically if you believe in karma YOU HAVE to believe in reincarnation, otherwise you are taking parts of karma to support your own private belief; which probably stems from parents brainwashing you into behaving b/c you believe what goes around will always come around
Definition:the sum of a person's actions in this and previous states of existence, viewed as deciding their fate in future existences.

destiny or fate, following as effect from cause.
Once again, karma is a scientific principle. It's energy conservation
The concept exists independently of any religion
YOU CHOOSE to tie karma to religious/spiritual dogma smh
Please post a peer reviewed scientific article about the science behind karma.
Don't worry. I'll wait.
LOL
I was gonna say something to Will on this, since I used a direct definition of karma from the dictionary, but seems you took care of it. I don't think any scientist relies on karma and I also never said karma was a religion, but it is tied to Buddhism. I said it was a theory based on the belief in reincarnation WHICH by definition it states this.:
