1 folks hate when somebody is labeled as the savior or says that his album will be classic.
2 it's about hoping jay fails at pushing a big time artist more than cole failing
3 some folks just don't like him

i don't want him to fail nor do i care about his success just give me some good music

he's not gonna make big numbers, haters will laugh while bumpin bubble gum rap, Jay Z will stop supporting him and in a few years J. Cole will be where Joe Budden is now
could be the same for Jay Electronica

Buddens isn't doing too bad though. I know he signed with Shady as a part of Slaughterhouse but I also think he signed with Shady as a solo artist.

joe budden also has a loyal underground fanbase that supports him.

Wow, I've said this before. Their careers do seem to be on similar paths. Extreme net hype as the next coming, luke warm responses to singles, album delays, etc. I said Cole is the Joe Budden of 2011...

Getwitcha

I don't have a problem with him making it, but there's no denying it excites people to see him fuck up.

I agree, he is like Budden (and I'm a Budden fan). Budden ended up not even trying to make it commercially and just started releasing whatever he wants.

I don't want him to fail cos that is hating but his Music does nothing for me at all i can't enjoy it his Music doesn't move me and i can't stand his Production that is a huge let down for me so i'm not gonna ever buy a J Cole record cos his Music has no replay value or enjoyability to me but that doesn't mean i wish him to fail
