Some people do it ritualistically, as a mark of manhood. Dr. Amos Wilson was going in on how certain African tribes do the circumcision as a manhood ritual when the boy gets to be about 13 or so... Its huge ceremony, and if the boy flinches or cries he is ostracized and his whole family is labeled cowards/weak. The reason they do this is because they are training the boys to become men. They gotta rustle cattle for a living and if your afraid of gettin hurt and cant take pain, you and your family wont eat so you gotta learn at an early age to suck that shit up.
