he finaly getting his money...i hope this money dont jade his perception on hiphop though...we've seen too many truely talented artists "hiphop/RnB/NeoSoul/Rock/etc" getting a taste of some good currencey then changing who they are in hope to cash in. i dont think ima even check this album though, from what ive heard. but in order to support him maybe ill but his other albums (cus i kinda skipped on that as i didnt really know too much about his music)

Not really, this boost was more cause fans missed Lupe. I expect a HUGE drop next week, this album will not have staying power on the charts. It will go Gold and hopefully people went back to get "Food and Liquor" cause it's not certified Gold yet. Lupe is a Gold artist, "Lazers" is not seeing Platinum.

thats kinda what im saying in my last sentace of that post, like this wack release is making me think i need to go and buy his previous two....i dont wanna be part of the collective that promotes bad music, im hoping a lot of people think like i do, buy his previous albums and then when he talks to his accountant, his accountant tells him "actually ure most recent sales have been coming from F&L and The Cool"

got forced to do bs music yet and still this album is his highest sellin album first week thus far...go figure.

It's also a win for hiphop in a way, it proves what i've been saying all along, FANBASE > SINGLES. You consistently put out quality music, tour,etc is how you gain fans, a hit single doesn't make artist like it use to.
