Thing is I l really believe that if this was a good project being put out up to par with his other albums, the number woulda been higher. Cause he got no singles pushing this shit........ Just his name really. Thats why im saying it was probably all the touring hes done. I know a lot of people, fans who bought the first 2 who arent buying the album cause they heard its wack...

I'm happy Lupe's getting a #1 album finally which proves that Hip Hop fans in general are finally embracing him. But these sales are mostly cause of the long wait. But he will go GOLD for sure, Platinum is not happening. His 2nd week sales are going to fall very hard. I'm sad this is the album that goes #1 but it's really pop so I'm not shocked by the sales at all. 3-3.5 MICS at best.

he finaly getting his money...i hope this money dont jade his perception on hiphop though...we've seen too many truely talented artists "hiphop/RnB/NeoSoul/Rock/etc" getting a taste of some good currencey then changing who they are in hope to cash in. i dont think ima even check this album though, from what ive heard. but in order to support him maybe ill but his other albums (cus i kinda skipped on that as i didnt really know too much about his music)
