15 years too late imo, Premo has been inconsistent since Moment of Truth and PR disappointed me with that Soul Survivor 2.

I think its going to be a mash up! (well i hope it is) I really dont want to hear the "best of" joints! But hopefully they are gonna get Nas, CL Smooth, and other pioneers on the lp.

Gotta disagree with you usmarin3...premo and pete are still bringing heat to this day!

You also got to realize those songs were in the '90s. So songs like that were not only respected by hip hop heads but they also were popular with the majority of the rap listeners at that time.

Preem, for example, still makes classic beats like that AZs The Format or Termanologys Watch How It Goes Down...its just that they dont get the same play as they did like the 90s. If both those tracks came out at that time I can guarantee ppl would say those are classics IMO

You're missing the point, i am saying his sound is extremely recycled at this stage. Moment of Truth was the last great piece of work he did imo, i was saying Nas is like, Boom, It's all real, etc are all recycled versions of each other.

Oh i Can agree that they all sound the same in some way but i think thats just his style now. so the person listening is like "oh thats a preme beat"

Same thing with 9ths drum pattern.

Still think dude is making crazy beats though...

Def him, Dilla, and PR are the greatest producers of all time.
