that Jay E verse is obviously more show-stealing Black Excellence from dude but............

man, this album kinda lost me the moment I read Primo sampled Adrian Younge on every track. I mean yeah I understand avoiding sample clearance, but everything dude makes isn't really gonna sound like some old vinyls. His sound and style is very distinct. So really, it just sounds like a Adrian Younge + Royce album to me with Primo occasionally talking and scratching.

I'm sure it'll grow on me and I hope they do more but damn i wanted Premier beats like Reks - 25th Hour....

Royce has made some struggle solo albums but this shit fuckin fire. This year started off hot, went to shit and ended crazy as well. Co-sign whoever said this sounds like nothing else
