I VOTE FOR CLUE...

BOTH HAVE CLASSIC MIXTAPES...

BUT CLUE HAD MORE QUALITY CONTROL IN REGARDS TO THE SHIT HE PUT ON HIS TAPES...

KAYSLAY HAD EVERY BLUNTROLLER, BAGGAGE HANDLER & SANDWICH GARNISHER IN NYC MAKE JOINTS FOR HIS TAPES...HE'S PARTLY RESPONSIBILE FOR THE OVER-SATURATION OF NYC STREET RAP IN THE EARLY 2000'S....

I was living in New Jersey when Kay Slay was at his pinnacle circa 2003/04. I used to go to 125th st and cop his mix tapes. I'm not exaggerating when I say he was putting out a new mixtape every two weeks with exclusive songs by Jay Z, Nas, 50 Cent/G Unit, Busta Rhymes, Jadakiss/DBlock, Dipset and whoever else was hot in New York.

He had a mixtape series called The Drama Hour (1-9) which came out from August-October 2003. He also had a radio show called The Drama Hour on Hot 97 where he would play diss tracks (remember when EVERYBODY was beefing and making diss records?). I've googled it a million times but I can't find the Drama Hour mix tapes, but I know they existed because I had them.

Both them fuckers used to get me tight with all the damn talking over records

Di Kay Slay the drama king aka Smack your favorite dj this the drama hour C74 lock in"

Dj Clue William M Holla and the holla family

But the whole point of a mixtape is to smoke a blunt and bug out while the DJ is yelling over the songs. If you want the song with no yelling then buy the album!

ITS FUNNY TO THINK THAT THESE MIXTAPES WERE PROMO FOR THE ALBUM AT ONE POINT...

I REMEMBER THOSE DAYS...I WOULD COP THE ALBUM....

AND SOMETIMES THAT DOPE TRACK FROM THE MIXTAPE DIDN'T MAKE THE ALBUM...

DUE TO A SAMPLE CLEARANCE OR SOME SHIT...

I remember you don't know, Who we be, and a crazy ass foxy track from a clue tape in 01 just before the blueprint dropped. When niggas heard that ice in the winter fire in hell line they damn near fainted. Them professional albums had joints on em too.

Sometimes the albums weren't out yet, would end up not being on artist albums or just some freestyles
