This was a pretty good episode...

yea. that was the best episode in a minute. I wasn't surprised tho, Dexter was due to a solid ep. after all them couple duds in a row.

overall fun episode tho. lol @ the whole road trip theme. reminded me of the episode "Nebraska" where Dex went to find Trinity's son. glad to see them bring back that dark comedy. Zach and Dex had a nigga laughin. I actually started to like Zach @ the end. dude was so honest with his murder fuck ups. lol. like.. "oh shoot! I shoulda layed plastic under the dead body in my trunk." lmao. good to see the Brain Surgeon is back. I bet the brain surgeon is some one from Dexter's past. maybe a friend of Brian Moser. he might end up killin Dex in the finale...? WTF @ the writers pretty much makin a large part of the Dexter final episodes bein a love story. Nigga! this aint no soap opera! Boooo if Dex stops needin to kill because the love for Hannah filled that space...

The brain surgeon is Dr. Vogel's ex-husband. He is the only one to know that Zach is one of Vogel's patients and kills him. His name is mentioned for no reason at all other then to answer Deb's question if they know anything of Vogel's past. Most importantly I had a hunch the brain surgeon was going to be a husband or ex-husband of Vogel's before Dex mentioned his name to Deb because at the end of the 1st or 2nd episode Vogel gets 2 containers with brain pieces in them and they were labeled HIS AND HERS like what married couples use to label 2 of the same object.

nah! that's too easy imo. I think Mazuka and his daughter have a happy endin, jus to off set every thing that goes wrong for Dex and Deb. as both suffer a painfull death. but atleast Mazuka and daughter end well. I also think Batista might end up almost solving the bay harbor butcher case. some clue Laguerta left behind...

but the PI nigga. I have no clue what his end game is?

I think the PI guy is gonna end up looking into Hannah McKay since Deb put him on that scent and its gonna start fucking shit up.

I feel so perverted and disgusted with myself that I wanted to see Deb and Dex become a romantic couple. Just cause the shit was so rediculous.

I'm just saying, you can't cast half of The Boondock Saints and have him be a lame-ass PI the whole time. He HAS to have a role beyond complicating Dexter's love story with Hannah.

Also, I think Cassie's boyfriend has to be a suspect at least. He said he didn't remember Zach, but the opening shows he and Cassie talking to Dexter and Zach in front of Dexter's apartment. That's a pretty huge thing to forget: "Oh, hey, Detective investigating the death of the woman I loved! You invited me out to lunch to ask about this guy who was at the apartment of the guy you work with? Nah, can't recall him."

The plot armor around Dexter is so ostensible in this show. He could've said he saw Zach before at Dex's apartment and it would've been a wrap for Dex, lol. Easily. This is why I hate seeing the writers fuck Dexter's character up so much - no matter what happens, he'll pretty much be safe until the very end.

And still, somehow, once again, Yvonne Strahovski gets naked and we still don't see anything.
