this show is on the verge of jumping the shark for me.....i have no idea what the writer's are trying to achieve here overall,that ending was horrible.and outside of dex and deb this show is boring as fuck,i don't really care what happens to any other character,i mean i can't even remember the last time masutka was even involved in a proper storyline (compared to him being more defined throughout the first few seasons) and then just randomly giving him a daughter halfway through the final season?why the fuck would anybody care about that now?

shit is weak all over the place but i'll see it through to the end.

like someone said before the shows been on a decline since the end of season 4 but one thing they've managed to do well (and the only thing that's kept me watching) is the dynamic between deb and dex,i think most viewers were waiting for her to find out and creatively i thought it might have brought some inspiration back to the writing but so far it just seems fucking lazy and drawn out....i can suspend my belief for most things but not in terms of how a character should logically act.i didn't see the impulsive need deb had to suddenly try to off herself and dex (there's so many more ways she could have really hurt him but then that would end the show wouldn't it?) maybe it was a rush of blood to the head but now im supposed to believe for however long is left that dexter is going to be cool with that shit?i'd be on crusade to make sure i wouldn't end up dead first,even if it his own sister but i bet by next week he's back to normal business.

so yeah i don't see where its going,hopefully it finishes strong but i doubt it,they should really have ended this a few seasons ago when they intended to.

the interactions between Deb & Dex in that opening scene was classic. the drape rod thru the bed kill was EPIC. other that the episode was meh. we all knew Vogel was in no real danger and the shit w/ Mazuka jus seemed corny.

based of next week preview. looks like Quinn is back to his old season 4 self. following/tracking Dexter aka Kyle Butler. oh shit @ Dex wearin his kill uniform. and Quinn showin up sayin "I know what ur doin." or they could jus be misleading us...

I don't remember that? who does Quinn kno Dexter killed. I remember Quinn almost findin a Dex in Trinity's house. then Quinn getting the sketch of Kyle Butler, who looked exactly like Dex.

btw, the lil kid killer thing, didn't they already do this twice b4. 1st with the kid from like season 1 who killed the kid who raped him in juvie jail. then 2nd with Trinity's son who ended up bein a killer too. whatever tho...
