i think the most depressing hip-hop related thing i've heard of was the story of big l's death. i was reading some article online where it was talking about how he got killed over his brother owing somebody money, and when he died the neighborhood fell apart, and then his brother ended up getting killed, and his mom is left to deal with all of it. those are some evil streets
