Yea he can, but Pacino was the only thing good in Scarface. The stroyline was shitty, besides Pacino, the acting was shitty, and the movie relied on violence to further the story.

That's what was good about the film... it was a story of South American immigrants who invaded the US drug scene... it ain't gonna be pretty...

Yea I agree, but it could have been done better. Look at BLOW. That was almost the same thing, but with a great script, the casting was on point, the acting was good, and it didnt need a whole lot of violence to further the story. The story itself keep your attention

I knew one day some one would make this thread, but in my opinion they both are two of the best actors period. neither one is better than the other.

Al Pacino (Scarface, Dog Day Afternoon, Insomina, Serpico, Godfather movies, Carlito's Way, Donnie Brasco, The Devil's Advocate, Any Given Sunday, Heat, Dick Tracy, The Insider).

Robert DeNiro ( Heat, Godfather 2, Mean Streets, Taxi Driver, Raging Bull, The Untouchables, Casino, Goodfellas,Cape Fear, A Bronx Tale, Ronin, The Score, Meet The Parents movies)

They have made classic movies, great movies, alright movies, and shitty ass movies. Not too many actors have a Filmography the way they do.

but to me the greatest actor of all times is Johnny Depp
