Study the scriptures my friend. The tribulation (the end times) starts with sudden destruction! The prophet Isaiah says that we can only understand things by taking line upon line, precept upon precept, here a little and there a little. Thus, you have to take the whole word of God in order to understand how the end times begin.



"While people are saying, "Peace and safety," destruction will come on them suddenly, as labor pains on a pregnant woman, and they will not escape." 1 Thessalonians 5:3

If you look at Isaiah 13, it describes the sudden destruction that comes and it starts with the total destruction of Babylon! Here is a snippet, but please study the whole chapter for clarity:

"The burden of Babylon, which Isaiah the son of Amoz did see....Howl ye; for the day of the LORD is at hand; it shall come as a destruction from the Almighty. Therefore shall all hands be faint, and every man's heart shall melt:

And they shall be afraid: pangs and sorrows shall take hold of them; they shall be in pain as a woman that travaileth: they shall be amazed one at another; their faces shall be as flames. Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate: and he shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it." Isaiah 13:1, 6-9

Now if you look at the book of Revelation and the book of Matthew, you will see that the end also begins with the destruction of Babylon. The scriptures teach us that the end comes when the gospel is preached to the whole world and the end begins with the destruction of Babylon. Here is the evidence:

"And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come." Matthew 24:14

"And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people, Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters." Revelation 14:6-7

The next verse in Revelation 14, after the gospel has been preached in all the world, is this verse:

"8And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication." Revelation 14:8

The end begins with the total destruction of the United States of America. Just imagine if that happened today? Imagine if Russia, China, Iran, North Korea, Syria, etc all collaborated together and devised a plan where they would totally annihalate the United States of America in 1 hour? Just imagine how devestating that would be to the entire world? Well that is what the scriptures teach my friend. That is how the world is tossed into Chaos. That is the sudden destruction that starts the tribulation.

If you read Revelation 18, you will see that everything was normal up to the time that Babylon the Great was destroyed! There were ships in the sea watching the destruction from afar. That means that trade was still going on. That things were still normal. That the economies of the world were still moving along. And if you read Revelation 18 you will see that the merchants who traded with Babylon the Great were devestated at her destruction, because Babylon the Great was the one who bought the bulk of their merchandise.

All I can do is lead you to the water my friend. Now you have to ask the Holy Spirit to teach you these things and make them real to you. It's all right there in the scriptures. It's all right there. Ask the Holy Spirit to open up your mind and give you understanding. Ask and you will receive my friend. Knock and it shall be opened to you. Seek and you shall find! Amen.
