Highly doubt it. Death row was sold to a jew who sold it to another jew. Which means what ever publishing agreement he signed to is owned by the lady who bought death row.That lady who bought death rows catalog owns most of it now. 4k is an advance on how much they think he would make. That means he wouldn't have made shit anyway. She got the big ass check from rock star games. Thats why its important for aspiring artist and producers to stop being dependent on a record label.

thats the point bruh. this is business. this isn't about promotion, its about his song(s) thats being used in a billion dollar selling video game. there are licenses, contracts, and music supervisor(s) on salary that takes care of this. In film/media/games when your song is being used, the artist & film producers agree to a 'synch license'. Big budget productions won't use songs for free, they pay. if the artist is not business savy enough to get paid what they're worth, then your hustlin' backwards. this isn't a mixtape...

Cosign. Daz paid his dues and deserves to get paid for his labor. Its that simple. If Rockstar wants to use his music they have to pay him. Otherwise use their own music. And if they can't create music that people want to hear then that explains why Daz deserves to get paid, because he made some funky music that people like.

The sad thing is they are a billion dollar corporation and they had the nerve to offer him $4k.

If I was Daz I wouldn't settle for anything under $100k
