i wasn't disappointed but my expectations weren't that high to begin with....it's a nice project but a not a big step up from KC...i like it cuz it's new music from Dave but there is really nothing that stands out on this album to me.....it's gonna be interesting the path he takes to stardom but first and foremost he needs a hit...and not just anything wit a hot artist on the song like the joint wit CB or French but an actually hit like Bodak Yellow or Hot Nigga or Panda something of that nature where he can stand on his own and just do his thing....he's on a good trajectory

How much of Dave east have you listened to? He's never gonna write songs like that...unless he completely sells out

that wasn't my point...he doesn't need a GENERIC hit like the ones i listed....he needs a HIT period..something that will have everyone talkin about him like they did the aforementioned artists of said generic hits....30 niggas is a dope song yes but it's not playin on the radio and is not a nation wide hit song

Both Panda and Hot Nigga were accidental records that just blew up out of nowhere...Dave can most definitely make a hit record like those in his Dave East type of way....i don't want him to start chanting shit and make up stupid dances but he still needs to find that hit....that "If i ruled the world" or "Oochie Wally" type of joint (since ya'll dissed the new shit i listed lol)
