My boy nnamdi. Easily

Revis is riding playoff hype. They still the best two and both shutdown, but don't say there is only 1 shutdown corner in the league.

Revis is very good and im not discrediting his accomplishments at all.

But I'm a Raiders fan in upstate NY. I see both teams play plenty

The Raiders run more man coverage than any team in the NFL PERIOD....and by quite a large margin. Almost no safety help whatsoever and our pass rush is no where near what the Jets is.

Nnamdi as far as a coverage corner is better.

Although Nnamdi does have a 8 int season under his belt he isn't much of a risk taker. I would give Revis the nod over him as far as a playmaker.

But Nnamdi is the better cover corner.

Overall im taking Nnamdi. Plus he has been doing this for years now. And has had two of the best two statistical seasons in the past 10 years as far as completion and attempts are concerned.

Revis is great, but im taking Nnamdi. Put him on a good team and this would be more obvious. You see Charles Woodson in Green Bay....Nnamdi right now is better than Woodson has ever been as far as being a shutdown corner is concerned....and Im a huge Charles Woodson fan.....

For the people that have said one is "Easily" better than the other....I would like to hear your reasoning on both cases...

Revis Hes better man to man, better in run support and a superior tackler. Ball Skillz in the air is also better.

IMO this is the most underrated part of his game dude is great at tackling his postion. He'll probably teach Cromartie are thing or two about that. Revis is just a complete football player.

Nnamdi Asomugha. Hes been better longer and plays way more one on one with no help in that Raiders D..... I know they call him Revis Island but he gets way more help than people realize, plus he plays on a way better D.

Revis plays more aggressive in coverage because he gets help, more help than people realize.

I'm saying this as a Jet fan you have no idea what you're talking about. They were times last season that the Jets blitzed 7 guys, leaving four in coverage. Revis is the key to Rex's whole defense.

Yea at times they brought everybody. A lot of teams do that. And im not a fan of either team, but its well known that the Raiders play man coverage the majority of the time leaving their corners in man on man coverage.(Thats why they got rid of D. Hall) And the whole Revis doesnt get help thing was debated during the season and commetators constantly showed tape of a safety rolling over the top allowing Revis to be more aggressive in coverage. Besides he plays on a way better D. Not saying he isnt a shut down corner but Nnamdi in my opinion is better and has played better longer.

I'm surprised at all the sleep in here towards Nnamdi

Revis is a shutdown corner on a decent defense

Asomugha is a shutdown SECONDARY.......a QB be dumb as hell to attempt to throw to his side of the field

give the Raiders a defensive line that can rush like the Jets and Asomugha would be a nightmare in the league

#1 overall is decent defense?

Nnamdi...they scared to even throw to this guy.

Revis is most likely damn good but he might be another Cromartie where he may not be as good once the defense softens up.

Nnamdi shuts you down to the point the QB dont even scan the field in his direction lol

The African because the Raiders have no pass rush like the Jets do.

exactly...the raiders old d-line never puts pressure on the other teams qb...plus the other raiders db's are garbage so na basically has to hold it down by himself.
