Two HOFs fall in his lap they win a title and he spends the next 3 years dismantling the team

James Posey

Eddie House

Tony Allen

Nate Robinson

Kendrick Perkins

This muthafucka trades his starting center (the muscle) and his second best bench player (instant energy) for two certified bums. Green and Kristic have done nothing since they got to Boston. They have as much contribution as Brian Scalabrine and Sheldon Williams. And puts the team on the old ass back of Shaq. This dude should be ran outta Boston like Benzino.

lmao @ the benzino reference.

LOL Jeff Green >>> kendrick perkins.

Doc Rivers is just a wackass coach that doesnt use his weapons properly. Jeff Green can guard and play the 3 or 4 offensively. Perkins is trash and only averaged 6rpg.

FOH nigga Jeff Green is a bum

Perkins is a decent center but his true value is his presence and what he meant to Boston. All summer they talked about how if Perkins was healthy they would have won the championship and then you trade him?!?!?!?!?!

Its obvious that your team has no faith in winnin w/o him and you still trade him

i think he's done pretty good. he's kept the core together. and because of the moves to get KG and Ray, they Celtics became relevant again. now some of his moves involving the 'role' players are questionable

not bringing back tony and keeping nate was probably the worst mistake, if we signed tony and delonte andmarquis never got hurt maybe there would of never been a perk deal but i cant blame him for the perk trade, he was looking toward the future with that deal and perk wasnt coming back if teams like okc were willing to pay him, it just sucks that jeff green isnt that good and probably doesnt have a future here either

I think he messed up the most letting Perkins go and relying on Shaquille to anchor his team. All the other players contributed but didn't have the intangibles that Perkins had.

Everybody is a GM on their couch...He made the move because he NEEDED to. Paul and Ray had no depth behind them. Carmelo came to the Eastern Conf. And he knew they would face miami down the road. He thought he was getting a talented kid with a big upside. It hasnt panned out, but you cant guesstimate how he will thrive around those vet. players. Ainge thought he was getting a needed wing player and another big man that brought more to the offensive side. He had to let tony allen and posey go because they have three max contracts, perkins wanted damn near a max contract, and the CBA is up, and you have no clue if there was gonna be hard cap or not. Its up to the coach to make the parts work. Now if the clippers draft pick they got turns into the next MJ, all this hate will stop. But you never know how these trade will go. And he didnt exactly KNOW shaq and JO would be hurt this bad.. Id take Ainge over alot of GMs in the league. When everyone comments on this, they didnt have to think of the future and what the next CBA will bring on top of having a group of aging players.......They could be the clippers. And theres a reason we aint NBA GMs

as a 3rd option Jeff Green averaged 14ppg and 6rpg while Kendrick averages 6ppg and 6rpg career. Perkins a bum

u damn straight how in the hell u trade KENDRICK PERKINS, when they never lost a playoff series when all 5 is strating, he dumb like LARRY BIRD when fired ZEKE and dismantle the PACERS they was built to defeat the LAKERS

I think the only worst GM than Ainge is/was Isiah, McHale, and the Clippers last 8 GMs. He got lucky that his homie hooked him up with KG before he got fired and that Seattle was in deep rebuilding mode. I'm not saying the team was lucky but they did luck out that the timing was right. But other than that Ainge has been horrible. I wouldn't get on Dumars too hard cuz the only thing he fucked up on was trading Billups. After he did that he was kinda forced to dismantle cuz it was almost like the team gave up on him when he traded their "brother". Then not hiring an established coach hurt them as well.

Doc needs to stop trying not to step on anybody's toes and admit that both O'Neal's need to be on the bench. They gambled but those niggas haven't produced at all. Run KG at 5 and Green at 4. If they want to win then niggas are gonna have to check that ish at the door...

You sound like a damn fool cuh...Isiah just won NBA exec of the year, w/o even being in the league!

This nigg just showed up both, the Knicks & Nuggets GM's, by pulling a trade they couldn't pull off/energized both teams plus = most-coveted player movement in Knicks modern history...

You mufu's need stick to facts instead of yall's fanciful world that post-2005 NBA, has birthed

You sound like a fucking idiot, bruh. I don't see how Zeke had any influence over that transaction at all. Melo was gonna end up a Knick regardless because the nigga wanted to come home. In the end, Melo was the exec of the year. Even if Isiah had pull on that deal, he still fucked up by giving up too much. The best moves he ever did was drafting Lee and getting Zach Randolph but of course these niggas didn't know how to use him properly. other than that my dude stayed giving up draft picks and signing bad contracts. We had to tank a few seasons just to get below the salary cap. So, yeah...

I'ver probably have been watching basketball longer than you have been alive, youngin'...

I said you sound like a mufu fool, and I stand by that;

~drafted 1996 Rookie Of The Year

~showed lames how to coach, while in Indiana (131-115, and in playoffs during all three years he coached there)

~coached Knicks to the playoffs

~convinced Stoudemire why NYC was best place, for him

~drafted David Lee

~signed Zach Randolph

~orchestrated trade that energized DEN...while out of the NBA

~brought the Knicks, their most-coveted acquisition, in modern team-history...WHILE OUT OF THE NBA!!

~bought to get CP3 and Chauncey as a back-court tandem, ASAP

...hmmmmmm...sounds like a damn good basketball-mind, to me,

1.Oh, are you talking about Damon Stoudemire, biggest underachiever at his position after Rod Strickland who smoked his way out of the league? That makes as much sense as saying Mike Brown coached up a 2 time MVP.

2. So basically he's the Jeff Fisher of the NFL? You do know that they were contenders before Isiah came, right? I think they went to the Finals like a year or 2 before that.

3. ...and they got swept.

4. You have a point. He really needed convincing on $100 million and a big market. If the Lakers and Knicks made the same offer he would be in LA right now...

5. Like I said, his best deal. Too bad he buried him on the bench so Channing Frye could attempt and fail to become the all-star Zeke envisioned.

6. Like I said, one of his better moves but he didn't know how to use him right because he is simply just an average coach. Do you remember why he got Randolph? Because he traded Ariza for bum ass Steve Francis and he held on to Frye too long instead of dealing him when good deals were being offered to him.

7.& 8. "You need more people." - Jigga

9. Hate to break it to you but Billups is a rental until they get Paul. They are never gonna give a 35 year PG a long term contract when they have to give Paul the max. You really don't know much about basketball, do you? LOL

Overall he's a decent drafter but he's a below average GM....
