Dude turned himself into the greatest Bond. I don't see this dude getting out of the shadow of James Bond. More power to him but he might regret this move

This isn't true at all. He might be third best maybe. He was part of 2 of the better films in casino royale and skyfall (the other 2 were complete trash) but he isn't the greatest bond. Foh. He's not fucking with Sean Connery and Roger Moore. You can argue Brosnan was better as well.

Timothy Dalton was a pretty good bond as well IMO

License to kill was dope

Licence to kill is top 10 but Dalton himself wasn't that special especially on the first movie he did as bond. Can't remember the name but it was trash. Script was just more serious and dark which suited his struggle face. He was the daniel craig version of james bond before daniel craig tho since it was the first dark bond movie so I rate him for that but casino royale and skyfall are top 5-6 bond films so I'd say Craig was the better bond. Dalton was legit the blueprint for the last 4 films tho. Also like Craig did all his stunts.

"Turned down $68M"

I refuse to believe that...

Its £68million, that works out to about $100million.

Shiiiiiiiiiiiiiit... How the fuck? I'd have them write the shit where I didn't do stunts and take the check. This shit is Toby McGuire stupid: "I don't want to be typecast!" Who the FUCK can name a Daniel Craig appearance besides side piece in Tomb Raider? I forgot that until the OP. Typecast as a dude who can fuck your bitch after murdering you, shoot down helicopters at night with a PP9, and drive the dopest cars while having an apartment that looks like a freshman's dorm room--the nerve!

Fuck outta here.

I'm not saying it's as stupid as Dave Chappelle's "They didn't give me any help on how to run things, and this lighting guy laughed at me during the skit--and I felt like I was a joke, so I left because a black man can't be funny without wearing a dress" excuse to be responsibility free... but it's "hard on my body" is that stupid when the company is giving you all kinds of control.

it's hard on his body like a running back at the end of his career it's not like he can't make that money up doing other movies he got knee problems etc what the sense of having all that money and u can't walk

A nigga can buy new legs with that shit. Or I'm getting the illest mobility scooter on the market.

Say what you will about Moore but he did 7 bond films only one that was bad was A View To Kill. He was the light to Daniel Craig' dark. I grew up on his bond movies. Redefined the role after Connery' great first run.

Tom Hiddleton would have to put on a good 10 lbs I think to be convincing in the role. I guess if he becomes Bond they're going to go with a more "brain than brawn" kind of James Bond. It'd be a good counter to Craig's Bond. I think Craig's was more closer to the Bond in the books tho.

I'm not mad at whatever they choose, Tom Hiddleton from his interviews, seems like a cool down to Earth guy.

Tom Hiddleston is a great actor, and yeah, in interviews he seems like a cool bloke. He was in a recent series called The Night Manager which was popular in the UK which started the calls for him being the new Bond. I wouldn't mind him being chosen.

Of course I'd be rooting for Idris Elba though but he's already about the same age as Daniel Craig and all the racist white people would be having aneurysms over him being chosen.

Night Manager was trash. Just finished it. Not buying Hiddleston as 007 at all.

Damn. I downloaded Night Manager. On ep 3. Hella boring so far, i assumed it picks up. Guess not...

He was a much rougher Bond, and I enjoyed that about his rendition of the character.

I didn't like him as Bond but didn't hate him. I just felt his movies where less spy like and more action like. Not to mention he wasn't smooth with the ladies like Connery and even Roger Moore. He was just brooding in a sense when it came to the ladies not really suave or debonaire like the aforementioned.
