Dame Dash has been lauded for his business acumen while talking down to those who have a "boss". So tonight we'll blow away the smoke and turn the mirrors sideways and have a closer look at just how good of a business man he is. We'll talk with our co-host Keith Watson who was there when Rocafella fell apart and helped negotiate the split between Jay and Dame.

Basically this interview with Keith Watson,one the guys hired to help dissolve Rockafella,

fills in a lot of blanks and answer a lot questions as to exactly what and why the "empire" collapsed at it's height

Very insightful interview...

Basically says that at the time of the roc's demise, dame had his hand in 11 businesses but owned no more 20% of each.

Jay never collected any royalty payments from his first 8 albums & was owed about $68 mil from Rocafella. Dame didn't have the $68 mil & def jam wasn't going to pay $68 mil...which led to the whole presidency negotiation.

Dame walked away from the deal with part ownership of Reasonable Doubt & $40 mil..which he owed people.

I wonder if Dame is going to find out that dude aired his laundry out..

This brought about an interesti range of discussion. All initial parties involved deserves props because mainstream outlets seldom generate healthy meaningful discussions

with that said, its foolish to ridicule,chastise, and provide after tge fact guidance to someone for losing what you never placed youself in a position to even whif in the first place.

I don't like that he's condescending towards people who work daily and don't create companies every chance they get. Throwing your money away by not making intelligent business decisions isn't inherently admirable either and only the victors tales are told. But hey, it's your money, and those people who work 9 to 5 earned their money for what little they offered society with the relative importance of their labor.

Is a doctor working insane hours not important because they have a boss working in an ER rather than their own corrupt practice shooting booty injections? Some jobs are unimportant even if it's a business you created.
