I dont think anyone expected them to do big numbers. They weren't big as solo artist either even though Royce and Joe did good work as solo artists.

Their problem to me is that they come off as if they are the only authentic rappers or like nothing else is hip hop except for them. I like slaughterhouse but as individuals. as far as the album I hope nobody was thinking they'd go plat in a week. look what happened to Yelawolf. An Em cosign doesn't guarantee success which is probably why he never had many artists under him.

never cared if they got a "hit" or not, my opinion on whats good music and what not its not by any means influenced by whats "hot on the radio" because i dont listen to it, or "bangs in the whip" because im not an ignorant imbecile, or "lol the pussy i get depends on the music i listen to" because im not 12, rather than artists puttin effort in their music.

i'd rather listen to Reks or recent Lupe Fiasco than anybody in ym anyday.
