And women have paid for their share or the entire bill on many of the dates I've been on, because of that mutual vested interest I talked about in my previous post.

The variable you are looking for is mutual interest.

If you are on a date with mutual interest, either party could pay for the meal but both parties have a vested interest in the outcome... Be it just sex or a healthy relationship.

If a dude is paying a woman, while aware (consciously or subconsciously) that she is only entertaining him because of said money - this is tricking.

This type of behavior is most common with THOTs on the recieving end of compensation.
