not knockin the other albums but this is the year when Ice Cube was the best rapper in the game, Snoop Dogg was so anticipated that its the only album i knew that dropped at midnight and record stores all over opened for the debut, and Federal 40 had started buzzing hard. Have all three in my collection

I was too young to really fuck with E40 albums yet I knew "Sprinkle Me", "Hurricane", and "1love" word for word thanks to the radio. Blue Carpet was a career extender for Snoop. And of course, My Ghetto Report Card was the Bay Area's battle cry after being written off.

E40 fan, but 1993 based on Doggystyle and Lethal Injection.

Federal had some bangers (Carlos Rossi, Federal, Extra Manish), but too many ppl, including myself, 40's best work was In A Major Way (1995).
