There's conflicting info. Some places are saying he's Apollo's son and that he was still in the momma's belly when Apollo got killed. Which is consistent with Michael B. Jordan's age and would make more sense than having him as the grandson. It's still crazy to me how he kinda favors Carl Weathers too.

Plus when you see his instagram posts documenting his return to Philly for this movie he looks like he usually does.

Also about the son/grandson thing word has it that it is supposed to be the son. Sly changed it to that himself when he tweaked the script; originally Adonis Creed was the grandson.
