NRA’s Lupe Fiasco Announces Album Plans[/size=7]

The National Rap Association made its first major announcement today Chicago emcee, Lupe Fiasco, will release a triple album entitled “Earth, Wind, & Fire.” At the moment not many details have been released by the label but there is an official release date: February 27, 2014. Lupe has not released an LP since the critically lackluster “Food & Liquor II: The Great American Rap Album Pt. 1” After being shelved by Atlantic Records, Lupe’s contract was bought out by rap CEO @supersoaker. No further details were released about the record.

New Season of Boondocks to feature Kendrick Lamar, Ab-Soul, and Schoolboy Q. [/size=7]

The highly anticipated return of the politically conscious cartoon “The Boondocks,” will feature some of hip-hop’s biggest up-and-coming artists. Leaked copies of the special one hour season premiere see Huey and Riley taking aim at the Grammys. Although specific details aren’t divulged, the outline finds Huey stealing the Grammy award from Macklemore and going to Compton to give the award to who he feels deserves it, Kendrick Lamar. K-dot will also be joined by his label mates Ab-soul, Schoolboy Q, Jay Rock, and Isaiah Rashad; all of whom will be voiced by their real-life counterparts. Will Huey be surprised at his favorite artist’s lifestyle? Can Riley hang with the gangsters in Cali? Will granddad scoop up some famous snow bunnies in Hollywood? All those who have waited for the return of this show cannot wait till these questions are answered.

Rap label CEO @supersoaker released a statement about this opportunity for his artists: “This is probably one of the biggest honors for our label period. To be part of such a culturally significant television show is a huge deal. It shows that at the NRA we are trying to give more than music. We’re trying to extend our label to every sort of media. I’m also excited to say that the album title, cover art, and track list for Kendrick Lamar’s new LP should debut later this week. “

CEO Iceberg Taylor & Dame Dash announces details of forthcoming albums on Renaissance Rocafella[/size=7]

With other labels scattering to drop some news on upcoming projects, Dame Dash & CEO Iceberg Taylor have chilled in the cut almost silent on whats coming from the newly formed Renaissance Rocafella. That wast til now; when they decided to finally dish the details on the label and whats to come.

"We just been here workin and tryin to get the situations right, theres alotta talent and groups that had to get themselves together" said Dash. "First of all, we have the Dynasty 2.0 coming out, but it wont be called Dynasty. It'll be titled "La Familia Principate" you know how Ice always has some artsy fartsy Roman Holy twist to shit."

Dame also touched on the other projects that will be dropping. "Jay's album is definitely coming, dont worry about that. Theres tons of people who wanna work on it but we're gonna keep it tight. He's closing out a series properly. Cole got one comin, so does Currensy, Pusha & Jhene." He also gave insight to divisions within the label and news on the Dreamville label. "Cole got his sub-label Dreamville, Cudi & The Dream there. We savin them for a rainy day but there will be a Dreamville EP that comes with Cole's album. Currensy has the JETS: him, Wale, Juelz, & Iggy. I'm pushin for that album we'll see what happens.
