You talking about the whole "Work wife/husband" thing. I've seen it happen and it's funny as hell when the actual spouse or S/O is at a company event around the work wife/husband and you can just see that awkwardness. It mainly happens if you got 2 people who sit near each other or work together alot on things. It's natural being around somebody as often as most people are at work, 8-10 hrs/day, you're going to either become close or hate each other's guts.
