rule 1#... God answers all prayers, but sometimes the answer is no

just like with ya parents... They love you and want the best for you.. But you aint gone always get what you ask for just cause you are "good"

ive prayed for plenty of things and didnt get it... I was salty, but charged it to the game... Come 2 find out, god sent me something much better than i

expected....

are we, are arent we in agreeance that by ur logic..

"if u pray and nothing happens because u did none of the work its ur fault... U have no one to blame but urself??

But if u pray and do the work necessary to make it happen its because of god?? And to him be the glory??"

When you assault something that's integral to someone's identity how do you expect them to act? It's like calling a kill whitey type dude a "sell out". These people obviously built their lives around this thing, who is he to question them on it? This isn't the 1600's anymore. The battle between science and religion is over....Science won. If someone chooses to make religion the foundation upon which they build their lives, who's this guy to question that in their place of worship?

It's corny. That's some shit I would have done in high school. But guess what....I grew up.

It doesn't sound like he attacked anything. He simply brought an alternate interpretation of the belief system up for discussion. People who react like that don't really believe. They are just brainwashed. People who have legitimate belief in something can defend it and don't get upset when it is questioned because it gives them the chance to further express their ideals. People who are brainwashed can't do that because they don't fully understand the basis of their ideals. They can only proceed as far as their indocrtrination will allow. Past that, they can only resort to emotional outbursts.

The funny part is that Christians are supposed to spread the 'Word' to nonbelievers. How can you have any type of reasonable persuasive conversation if you can't appropriately deal with their questions?

Well you need the peace of Christ which passeth all understanding to help you understand the spiritual realm b braze. Because right now your just talking from a carnal nature.

Heaven is so much more than anything humans can ever conceive of. Just to see God face to face is heaven for me. But we will also rule and reign with Him as Kings and Priests forever and ever We will also be able to explore the endless treasures of His creation. The farthest reaches of the universe will be able to be transversed by us forever and ever.

over who, exactly? what does that even mean? if everyone who goes to heaven get to be king, wouldnt that make being "king" lose some of its luster?

he clearly new what the response would be he clearly expected that reaction and if he was in a christian church and he know anything about christianty( which the ts has proved he does ) then he knew that one of the pillars of christianity is eternal life in heaven ant that heaven is a better place than hear not a plantation for human slaves. he shot first and they defendend themselves.

its one thing to be an athiest and not believe but its another to be out attacking christians beliefs at a church

i dunno it just seems like the same thing athiest complain about

Not everybody will be kings in the kingdom and not everybody will be priests in the kingdom. When Jesus Christ returns in glory there will be people still alive on earth to witness it. Some of those people who were faithful to Him will enter into His kingdom at the sheep and the goat judgment.

Those who are the sheep will be the ones who will re-populate the earth during the 1,000 year reign of Christ and they will be the ones who will be ruled over by the church (kings), Israel (priests) and the king of kings, Jesus Christ.

Also there will be different administrations for believers during the kingdom. Not everybody will have the same level of responsibilities. The level of responsibility that one has in the kingdom is determined by the level of faithfulness one has during this lifetime.

After the final judgement of the wicked, God will create a new heaven and earth. What will take place during the eternal wonders of heaven is yet to be seen. I just thank the Lord that He predestined me to take part in that world to come! Hallelujah!

Maybe you and I are just taking what he said differently. To me he presented the people with a "What If?" scenario. You're acting like he was speaking to them as if what he was saying was the absolute truth. The fact is that the Bible describes Heaven as a paradise not of this world. Another planet could surely fit that bill. Also, plenty of Christians interpret Heaven as being a place where you'll serve, praise, and commune with God and Jesus forever. Take away the negative connotations associated with the word slave, and it can be reasonably used to describe that setup. Hell, if you read the Qu'rann Jesus is depicted as one of if not the most important prophet in the faith and even he is referred to as an 'honored slave.'

1. Depends on what it is you prayed for....somethings you cant do anything about.. You have 2 leave it in the hands of god... And if god feels the need to allow this thing to happen or not, is soely up 2 him and his reasoning...

2. Yes... Like if you fill out an application.. U clearly met all the requirement for it but 150 other people do also.. And you get the job... Praise god!

Explain these responsibilities and administrations...

You sayin God gonna wake you out that deep dark sleep and put you right to work? How you gon have time to traverse the universe workin as Jesus' secretary? He give vacation time? For all that high falutin' nonsense you kick, heaven sound a lot like earth. A few elite minority ruling over the majority.

How long before the next rebellion, I wonder?

The responsibilities and administrations are yet to be seen. Nobody has been rewarded yet because the millenial kingdom is not here yet. Jesus did leave us some clues though. The parables He spoke gave subtle insights about His soon coming kingdom. One example can be seen in the parable of the talents.
Reference Luke 19.

So from Luke 19 we can see that the millennial kingdom will have countries, provinces, cities, and towns in it. And these countries, provinces, cities, and towns will have rulers over them. So again, depending on how faithful a believer was to the Lord in this life, it will determine the level of responsibilty one has in the life to come.

So my advice to you is what Jesus said to all who have ears to hear:

"Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal." Matthew 6:19-20

.. Im not gone make a new thread.. But what do you mean by administrations?

Like once we die.. Its heaven or hell...

So once we go 2 heaven/the new earth.. Like what is the need for roles and responsibilities?.. A chain of command.. And this thing you speak of those who had more faith than others will be in higher positions? (faith the size of a mustard seed right)

like there will be no more evil, no struggle... Nothing bad... So why all of this?

God will delegate responsibilities to the saints because we are a kingdom of kings and priests.

"And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen." Revelation 1:6

"And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth." Revelation 5:10

"Blessed and holy are those who have part in the first resurrection. The second death has no power over them, but they will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with him for a thousand years."
Revelation 20:6

Those are just a few of many scriptures which declare that the saints of God will rule with Him in the new creation. If you read the parable of the talents, you will see that Jesus will give those who were faithful charge over "cities" in the kingdom to come.

"11And as they heard these things, he added and spake a parable, because he was nigh to Jerusalem, and because they thought that the kingdom of God should immediately appear. 12He said therefore, A certain nobleman went into a far country to receive for himself a kingdom, and to return. 13And he called his ten servants, and delivered them ten pounds, and said unto them, Occupy till I come. 14But his citizens hated him, and sent a message after him, saying, We will not have this man to reign over us. 15And it came to pass, that when he was returned, having received the kingdom, then he commanded these servants to be called unto him, to whom he had given the money, that he might know how much every man had gained by trading. 16Then came the first, saying, Lord, thy pound hath gained ten pounds. 17And he said unto him, Well, thou good servant: because thou hast been faithful in a very little, have thou authority over ten cities. 18And the second came, saying, Lord, thy pound hath gained five pounds. 19And he said likewise to him, Be thou also over five cities. 20And another came, saying, Lord, behold, here is thy pound, which I have kept laid up in a napkin: 21For I feared thee, because thou art an austere man: thou takest up that thou layedst not down, and reapest that thou didst not sow. 22And he saith unto him, Out of thine own mouth will I judge thee, thou wicked servant. Thou knewest that I was an austere man, taking up that I laid not down, and reaping that I did not sow: 23Wherefore then gavest not thou my money into the bank, that at my coming I might have required mine own with usury? 24And he said unto them that stood by, Take from him the pound, and give it to him that hath ten pounds. 25(And they said unto him, Lord, he hath ten pounds.) 26For I say unto you, That unto every one which hath shall be given; and from him that hath not, even that he hath shall be taken away from him. 27But those mine enemies, which would not that I should reign over them, bring hither, and slay them before me." Luke 19:11-27

And yes it will be like a chain of command. God will be the KING OF KINGS and all will be accountable to Him. I'm speaking of the kingdom age in particular, which is the 1,000 year rule of Jesus Christ on earth. The saints will also judge angels during this time, so I can only hypothesize that God will let the saints see how the original rebellion started and thus be in agreement with the Lord about how severe a punishment the angels will receive in the lake of fire.

"Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that pertain to this life?" 1 Corinthians 6:3

There are many things that the saints will be doing during the kingdom age. Things that no eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no brain has even imagined. We are talking about the Alpha and Omega here. His wonders, wisdom, knowledge, power, and understanding are infinite. There are many treasures that God will give in the life to come to those who are faithful in this life. Treasures which far exceed anything this world has to offer. So it all remains to be seen my brother. All we can do is just walk by faith and trust the Lord my friend. God will never fail us. God will never disappoint us. Whatever God has in store for us on the other side, will be more than anybody could of ever imagined. I just want to get there so that I can be part of His eternal kingdom. God bless you.
