Because this is one of the few songs that they gave him artistic freedom over. I'd like to see a video for "All Black Everything" but I wouldn't be surprised if they do a vid for that Trey Songz cut next.

Everything about this video was dope. The fight scene was hilariously unrealistic but I don't have a problem with it LOL. I loved the peek of Egyptian herioglyphics tablets as well as the symbolism of Lupe freeing a Nu-Afrikan woman from systematic indoctrination.

It's 2011, you can promote revolution through pop music because they know people won't do shit. Go back a few years to the Che Guevara tees, just a pop reference now. In a nutshell, seems like Atlantic took his Lasers manifesto from a few years ago, repackaged and remarketed it... and why would Atlantic have a issue with Lupe criticizing the first black President anyway?

word, I'm sick of hearing the constant "I bust my gun, I'm selling coke, I'm rich and you're not rap songs." It's why I'll always buy a lupe/roots album without even hearing a single. I know I'll at least get an album with some real shit on it.
