So, we have an interesting thing that went on over the weekend. A couple of New Jersey men were picked up for terrorism. Both are American. I bring this up for a reason. You see, in America, you are supposed to have committed a crime before being arrested. In order to be charged with conspiracy a crime has to have happened. Otherwise its only thoughts with no actual crime taking place. Even doing stuff with intent is not enough to charge someone with a crime if nothing actually takes place because at the last second one may choose against completing the act.
Shades of thought police, it is kind of like putting someone in jail because they thought about doing something and you wanted to stop what they were going to do. Do they go to jail for such things as “thinking” about crime?
