Fucking dumb. I heard there were parts with Donald Glover and The lady the plays Shirley, he supposedly wouldnt straight up call them the N Word but he would use the word around them all the time. I also heard they kept most of the writers that were with Harmon, do you know if this is true? it honestly feels like the show is completely different now. But then again, its been so long since any of us have seen a NEW episode of community that im sure even if Harmon was the one who made it, it would feel strange.

It's sad to see that Chevy hasn't changed after all these years he was always arrogant and difficult to work with that's why he left SNL.

It seems like NBC never liked Community and would have cancelled it years ago if it wasn't for the outcry from it's fans.

Yeah. there was one yesterday. It was better than the season opener. But of course since it was Valentines day it had awful ratings. But good episode none the less.

Annie pretending to be Jeff's wife was funny too. Its almost too obvious that they gone probably hook up this season finally too. I mean they were supposed to go skiing just the 2 of them.....what kinda dude just takes a chick on vacation like that if it isnt bout something more.

I don't think that's intended though, I believe it's a result of the show runners not being on Dan Harmon's level. I've listened to a couple of interviews with Harmon and he's really good at identifying and articulating how and why different facets of pop culture resonate with people. It's easy to say "I want to do a spoof of the Hunger Games," but Harmon was able to pinpoint nuances that made "Community" what it was.

I think the real reason this season was pushed back was a result of NBC recognizing that these episodes are not that great and perhaps the writers and show runners needed to go back to the drawing board. I think the episodes filmed this year, without Chevy, for better or worse will be very different from these earlier episodes.
