I was at my cousin's house watching last night....her husband always act like he aint watching the show. But when the preview cam on for the season finale and he saw what Annie had on he came out of no where and was like "Yo...its graduation....Jeff better hit that shit next week." We both bust out laughin...LOL

Yup NBC announced a bunch of shows for renewal and cancellation. Community wasnt on either list. Supposedly it has been doing better than a lot of their new shows so there is still hope guys!

that was a good episode,kinda felt like something that was put together though if they expect the show to end which hopefully it doesn't.
some of the random origins had me dying,magnitude with the balloons and the dean with the dress were nice touches.

You know what in all honesty...fuck NBC & ABC also for treating Community & Happy Endings like crap. 2 of the best comedies on TV and they give 2 shits bout promoting them.
TBS need to pick up both shows, put it with Cougar Town and start they own comedy block. Cougar Town is doing better on TBS than it did with ABC....cuz they actually promote the show.

Needs picked up by somebody. I definitely want them to bring Harmon back too. The new writers have done a good job but its not on Harmons level. I never seen that happy endings show, ill have to check that out.

If this was the last episode.....I'd like to say This was one of the greatest sitcoms I've ever personally watched..The way the characters interacted was great, it never took itself or any other show too seriously..the Paintball episodes.....THE FUCKING PAINTBALL EPISODES were some of the best 20mins of Television EVER!...the 8bit old Nintendo game style episode...oh my god....who thinks of shit like that & then actually makes a whole show about it, greatness

Im def buying all the seasons on DVD. DVD sales is what brought family guy back on air. Co sign those Paintball episodes.. Greatest shit ever.
My favorite was the parallel timelines episode. Also the episode where Troy and Abed had the pillow fort vs blanket fort war.
So much GOATness in this show man. NBC is losing 2 of its major shows this year, 30 rock and The Office. Community has had just as many views as some of the shows they renewed this year. With as great of reviews as community has by critics and fans you would think it would be a no brainer to promote the fuck out of this show now that they are done with 2 of their big ones. Im sure we will find out in a couple days if they get renewed for season 5.

Finale was good. I feel like it could have ended better, but it was a good episode overall. The evil study group was awesome.

Yo. No lie the office damn near made me cry last night, been watching that show since the very first episode. But i didnt cry, because im a mother fucking man you know what im saying? i just bottled it up and put it deep down where the rest of the sad is hidden, waiting to one day erupt on some poor soul.
But to answer the Chang question. I think what they did (and im sure chevy chase quitting mid season didnt help) is set up this main storyline, and if they get cancelled so what, but if they get season 5 they atleast have a basis for the season. I could be wrong tho because that whole chang shit was used for practically this entire season. Then ends with no repercussions lol.
The writers said this last episode was very thrown together with all the drama that happened behind the scenes with Chevy.

I'm posting this story knowing anytime today it could (and likely will) change, but right now, it seems Community's fate still has not been decided.
Deadline is reporting that it's looking hopeful right now though, with NBC currently in negotiations with Sony, who produce the show, about not just Community, but four other new projects.
Last night, Community's season finale saw a slight rise in the ratings, which can only help at this point, with a decision so down to the wire (NBC announces their new schedule Sunday). Everyone knows Community is a low-rated show, but it's certainly good to end the season with a bump. Deadline says the discussions Sony and NBC are having are for a "possibly shorter and possibly final" season. It's not clear if that means another 13-episode season, as Season 4 was, or an even shorter one - an unusual move, but one that seems to be gaining traction. The CW ordered Gossip Girl for a final season of 11 hours this past year, and Nikita's renewal yesterday is said to be for as little as six episodes.
The other Sony projects NBC is considering is the drama Blacklist and comedies Welcome to The Family and Night Shift. The final project, Brenda Forever, starring Ellie Kemper and David Krumholtz, was passed on initially, but may now be reshot for another try.

if that was truly the final episode then to me it was a disappointment just because this is one of the few shows i put on a pedestal and i would have wanted them to go out with more vigour.the dark timeline group was jokes but putting the paintball scenario in felt way too rushed and it came across as lazy.
still i understand that things haven't been ideal on the show this season so its understandable,and i can't complain too much since its still on air (even if we did get mugged of half a seasons worth of episodes) but very few shows have made me geek out like this.i bought the season 1 and 2 dvd's when they came out and started giving them out to friends to get them into the show,hearing them enjoying it as much as i did and seeing them recommend it to their friends made me think there might be hope but i honestly don't understand why the show isn't as big as it could be.In this day and age you'd think a show that has displayed as much quality as this has would have a bigger following,especially by this point in it's run but since i don't live in the states all i can conclude is that NBC is run by fucking imbeciles.

hopefully it gets picked up again and even though the new writers have done a decent job they need to bring back Dan Harmon as well.This world doesn't know how much it needs a show like community.The world needs to Chang it's point of view.
