College dropout is an unquestioned classic. I don't give a fuck what no one says, Ye had a crazy wave. CD, LR, Graduation, 808s, and MBDTF are classics in my eyes. The beauty of it is all those albums had different vibes and different themes. His new shit is decent but to question dudes legend status is absurd at this point. College Dropout was an experience the first time I played it

Yall throw that word around something crazy. 808s and Graduation are nowhere NEAR classic.

Only song I don't dig is Workout Plan. Other than that, near perfect. Oh, I don't like some of old Kanye's snares.

They're my gripes with the album.

I even liked the skits.

I agree I enjoyed the skits also, there are a few songs I dont like and never did, workout plan, breath in and school spirit. LR, Graduation and MTBTF dont have that many duds per album maybe not even combined thats why this isnt in alot of top 5's he has at least 3 other albums that are arguably better than this.

I thought it was common knowledge that College Dropout is classic and certainly among the better debut albums....

I don't know anybody that would argue against that

i would hope that is the case but i was just thinking i never really hear it come in to conversation when people talk about classics.... maybe its one of those unspoken things that are acknowledged on the downlow

bumblesnaps to "Last Call"... one of, if not THE greatest outro i ever heard

get off the internet

in his defense he DID say in HIS eyes.

Never understood the hype wit this album I like last call, slow jams, never let you down, jesus walks(the beat) and through the wire

That workout song, breathe in and out two words and all those skits wack as hell.LR,Mbdtf and tlop all better albums to me

This album wasnt just a classic cuz the songs were good but also cuz the sound and message that was diff than everything else out at the time when it was mostly about sellin dope n being a thug.

This album was a breath of fresh air at the time.

Peedi Crack 'Camel Hunting Season' is a personal favorite of mine. Since im not a retarded moron and im capable of adult thinking, id never call it a classic. ..obviously

MBDTF

808's

Graduation

Yeezus

LR

CD

Too early to rank TLOP IMO, This the rank of how often I listen to these albums or want to, not necessarily from best to worst.

Unpopular opinion.

808's is better than Graduation. Outside Can't Tell me Nothing, Good Morning, Big Brother and Everything I am, it lacks something. I guess MBDTF is what Graduation should've been.

It's a definite classic..a lil rough around the edges in certain parts but nevertheless classic..can still be jammed to this day at a BBQ or special event with no problem

But LR and MTDF was the pinnacle of kanyes genius..to me aleast
